Tell me... is this fair?
So I was playing Warhawk today and my parents limit me to about 1 hour and a half a day. I was playing with some friends for about an hour and my Dad wanted me off at 8:00. Well it came around 8 and I had like two minutes left in my game, usually they let me finish it. I had only been on for an hour. Then my dad comes stopping into the room freaking out at me about how I was supposed to get off at eight. I told him that I just wanted to finish my game, he only got more upset. Now he goes and says that gaming is taking over my life! How is it doing that? For them they don't understand how technology is a huge part of my life, its what I do. I am limited to the amount of time I can spend on it and I keep to those limits for most of the time (sometimes I go over like ten or fifteen minutes). My studies are fine (A's and B's) and I think that I have a fairly healthy mind. They hate how I don't go outside, but I just don't find that any fun. During the summer I go out frequently, but I just moved different cities and I'm finding it hard to adjust. So my Dad then goes and says "Your PS3 is gone until Friday!" and I ask him why and what I did. Then he says "Stop talking or you'll lose it for another week!" Naturally I stopped talking because nothing would get through to him. I'm pissed and also very upset about this. Was this a fair thing for him to do? I'm not sure.
